Atmospheric Pressure Type Oil Seals:
Used in applications where the pressure within the sealing chamber is essentially atmospheric pressure or subject to slight fluctuations. This is the most common type, with standard oil seals generally suitable for operating conditions where pressure ≤ 0.3–0.5 MPa.
Pressure-Resistant Oil Seals:
Specifically engineered for applications where the sealing chamber experiences elevated pressures (up to 1.0 MPa or higher).
Characteristics: Typically incorporate thicker lips, reinforced metal reinforcement, stiffer springs, or specialised lip materials to resist pressure deformation and prevent lip blowout.
