Silicone rubber and general rubber compared to all three major categories of silicone rubber with components are relatively simple, hot vulcanization type is also the case. (2) Silicone rubber products are generally used at high temperatures, and its matching agent should be kept stable at high temperatures, for this reason, usually choose inorganic oxides as reinforcing agent.
(3) Silicone rubber in trace amounts of acid or alkali and other polar chemical reagents easily caused by the action of siloxane bond cleavage and rearrangement, resulting in the reduction of heat resistance of silicone rubber. Therefore, in the selection of agents must take into account their acidity and alkalinity, but also should take into account the acidity of peroxide decomposition products, so as not to affect the performance of vulcanized rubber.
