Advantages: the crown of all synthetic rubber, known as the rubber king, the price is very expensive. There are many types of fluoroelastomers, fluorinated olefin copolymers are the most widely used, of which fluorine -26 consumption is the largest. Fluorine rubber heat-resistant, acid and alkali resistant, oil-resistant, resistant to hot water and steam, compression permanent deformation is small, airtight, and weather-resistant, ozone-resistant, self-extinguishing combustion.
Disadvantages:poor cold resistance, good electrical insulation, the need for two-stage vulcanisation, large shrinkage, expensive.
Applications:Oil seal, O-ring, impregnated plate, film, gasket, hose, putty, wire and cable, paint, roller, tape and many kinds of lining with high temperature, oil, high vacuum and many kinds of chemicals. It can also be used as adhesive for glass, metal, elastomer and fabric.
