The interrelationship of the three elements of vulcanisation

Vulcanisation time, vulcanisation temperature and vulcanisation pressure are interrelated and interact with each other in the vulcanisation process, which together determine the quality and performance of rubber products. The interrelationship between them can be summarised as follows.
The relationship between vulcanisation temperature and time: Increasing the vulcanisation temperature can shorten the vulcanisation time, but too high a temperature may lead to the phenomenon of vulcanisation restitution. Therefore, when controlling the curing temperature, the influence of curing time should be taken into account.
The relationship between vulcanising pressure and time: vulcanising pressure on the vulcanising time of the influence is small, but the appropriate vulcanising pressure can promote the flow of rubber materials and morphological changes, improve the quality of vulcanisation and mechanical properties.
The relationship between vulcanising temperature and pressure: the vulcanising temperature and pressure act together on the rubber material to promote the vulcanisation reaction. In actual production, according to the characteristics of rubber materials and product requirements, reasonable control of the size of the vulcanising temperature and pressure.
