Rubber and plastic specimen surface should be smooth, flat, there should be no defects, mechanical damage and impurities. Rubber specimen thickness of not less than 6mm, width of not less than 15mm, length of not less than 35mm, the specimen thickness of less than 6mm, can be the same as the film stacking determination, but not more than 4 layers, and requires the film up and down parallel. Rubber hardness determination temperature limited to 18-28 degrees Celsius, the specimen should be stored at the experimental temperature for up to 5 hours.
Plastic specimen is not square, side length 50mm, thickness 6mm, also allows the use of 50X15mm specimen. Plastic hardness determination temperature rules for 20 ℃ ± 2 ℃, the specimen in the experimental temperature shelved for 16 hours.
