Introduction to the Principle of Action of Vacuum Suction Cups

The suction cups form a temporary sealing environment by means of a flexible material (e.g. rubber) that fits closely to the surface of the object to be adsorbed, excluding gaps.
Internal evacuation
Use the pumping device (e.g. hand pump, electric vacuum generator) to pump out the air inside the suction cup, so that the internal air pressure is lower than the external atmospheric pressure (usually negative pressure).
Atmospheric pressure effect
The external atmospheric pressure (approx. 104 Pa) acts on the external surface of the suction cup, while the internal low pressure generates an inward pressure difference, thus fixing the suction cup firmly on the object.
