Vulcanisation is to produce a certain degree of cross-linking of fluoroelastomers, so that they have good performance in use. Fluorine rubber vulcanisation can be carried out by ionic addition of nucleophilic reagents, or by peroxide or rays in the form of free radicals. Vulcanisation of fluoroelastomers with amine compounds (1#, 3# vulcanising agents) can solve the requirements of general products; the use of 2# vulcanising agents can solve the processing of mastic. In sealing products, in order to make it have a small compression deformation value, should be preferred to use phenolic compounds as vulcanising agent. Such as hydroquinone, bisphenol A, bisphenol AF, etc., and with the corresponding accelerator to adapt to the high-level performance requirements. In solving the resistance to corrosive media, it is recommended to use peroxide vulcanisation of fluoroelastomer.
