Carbon black is a widely used chemical product, about 70% of carbon black is used in the tire industry, which not only improves the strength of the products, but also improves the processing performance, and gives the products abrasion resistance, tear resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance and some special properties, so that the service life of the products is extended. The distribution of carbon black in different rubber is different, among which, the combination of smooth-butadiene rubber with carbon black is the strongest because of its flexibility and high degree of unsaturation. The affinity is related to the flexibility and double bonds of the rubber macromolecular chain. The combination with carbon black is the strongest for cis-butadiene rubber because of its flexibility and high degree of unsaturation, while butyl rubber has the weakest combination with carbon black because of its low degree of unsaturation. The larger the difference between the unsaturation of the two rubbers, the more significant the difference in carbon black content between the two rubber phases when blended. The viscosity of rubber affects the distribution of carbon black. Generally, carbon black tends to be distributed in the lower viscosity rubber phase.
